It's surprisingly difficult to find an open-source dictionary in a simple text format. I wrote some code to extract one from wiktionary, which is an open source dictionary by wikimedia, but in a very difficult to handle format. The text version looks like this:

Proper noun:
- (historical) A Polish Autonomous District in the Ukrainian SSR (1926-1935).

- (music) Resembling a march

Noun:
- (historical) A person living in the marchland (border regions) between England and Scotland or England and Wales.
